Yellow House mixes together Children  from all backgrounds and capacities in  a bright yellow bungalow. It adds paint, canvas, batik and glass, arts and  crafts, puppetry,  pottery, music and  dramato  the  blend, and stirs it lovingly  with  laughter and the support of caring adults. What emerges is wonderfully  imaginative art served  in the Children's own workshops and gallery and on their own performance stage.

"Every child  has the  right  to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and to have appropriate and  equal opportunity for cultural, artistic and leisure activities"

(Article 31, The Convention on the Rights of the Child)

Yellow  House  is  a  project  proudly  developed  by the  Malaysian Friends of UNICEF in celebration of this right.

Yellow House,  above all,  is  about  the magical transforming  quality  of  art: how it bridges  and  unites  through  fun;  how  it heals and  restores through creative self-expression.
